Cast for Nightwing I.  I will talk about the cast in my Nightwing flick. This movie will be following Dick Grayson after he leaves the Titans. For this flick, I will look at the 90s comic books.  My movie will have him fighting Blockbuster who has wrecked Bludhaven. Evil Blockbuster has cops working for him.  So it will be a deep story to see. Release will be in 2021. Now I tell the cast of Nightwing I.

Bridget Clancy is my second character in the film. She is the superintendent of the building where Nightwing moves into. Fast facts. Clancy is an Irish immigrant of Chinese descent. When she was an infant, she was adopted by a family who raised her in Ireland. As she entered adulthood, she moved to the United States for college.There she becomes a landlady at 1013 Parkthorne Avenue. Bridget is well loved in both the comics and in my movie due to her demeanor.  Clancy is a  warm-hearted, woman who knows contruction well. One of her goals is to be a doctor.  She has a tough exterior so she can hide her emotions. Unknown to Clancy in this flick, Dick will be  her guardian angel. He using Wayne Enterprise funds will provide the funds needed to keep the building from being taken over, saving the tenants from eviction.  Clancy wants to enroll in medical school. She hopes to study clinical psychology at New York City. My casting for Bridget is Yin Chang. Chang would be  32 years old when the film releases. Chang is an average actress. She appeared on various primetime TV shows. Of course she is Chinese like Bridget. Costume is her comics shirt and pants. Will be cool. Mac Arnott is my next character. He is Nightwing's partner when Grayson joins the police force. In the city of Bludhaven, he served. The commissioner assigned Nightwing to Arnott since Arnott is tenured. Dick gladly serves. But Mac is secretly corrupt. He has worked with Blockbuster along with other corrupt cops. This has allowed Blockbuster to escape unscathed from police scrutiny. We obviously know Nightwing will not be corrupt. Later on, Grayson finds out the truth about conniving Arnott and helps some noncorrupt cops bring him down. He will be cool. My casting for Mac is Jack Gwaltney. Gwaltney would be 61 years old when the film releases. Gwaltney is a good actor. Meta casting will occur as Gwaltney played a corrupt cop in CSI:NY. Eventually, his character was found out to be protecting his illegitimate son. Then he was removed from the force. I probably think Jack can recapture the mojo he had as the corrupt cop. So he is a good casting for this guy. Costume is white long sleeved police outfit with a tie. So that's Mac.

John Law, aka the first Tarantula, is my next hero. He was the Tarantula in the 80s that protected Bludhaven from gang violence. Doesn't have any powers. Eventually he retired. Now, a Bludhaven female has taken over his identity. Law approves of her. He allows her to stay at his place. Gave her training when she was younger. Law is a seasoned fighter. My casting for John Law is Ben Cross. Cross would be 73 years old when the film releases. Cross is a good actor. Would like to see him in this role. Gun is used by him. No archival footage will be shown. However, John Law will discuss his extensive career with Nightwing at his apartment home. Of course Nightwing will be amazed. Lived in Bludhaven since 1947, his birth year. Over time , he quickly became a very feared vigilante of the city. Please let me know if you like the casting in the comments below.

Mutt Hogan is my next character. He is a good guy. While he doesn't have any superpowers, he is supportive of Nightwing. Why you ask. One day he met Nightwing on patrol. By coincidence, Mutt stays at Nightwing's apartment. Hogan is adopted by a white couple. Previously, he was a biracial kid living on the streets but his parents found him. They treated him well. At his house, he has a Nightwing memorabilia collection to honor Dick. Really likes Nightwing. My casting for Mutt Hogan is Julian Fuego Thicke. Thicke would be 11 years old when the film releases. Thicke is av average actor. You may recognize him as Robin Thicke's son. Due to being the child of Robin Thicke and Paula Patton, he is biracial.Child actor like him is perfect for this role. Not much is being asked of him. Role will be small but influential to Grayson. By forming a bond with Mutt, it will help the brooding Nightwing be more relatable. You will enjoy him there. Francis Redhorn is my next character. He is a bad cop. Secretly he's been working with crooks in the town like Blockbuster and his gang. Frequently he turns a blind eye to them. Some of the cops also support Redhorn. They help Redhorn's friends in their crimes. Yikes. In some cases, he launders money to the gangs. So he is corrupt. But his wife keeps tabs on him. Through her journal, she documented various illegal activities he did. Definetly, this guy is corrupt. My casting for Frances Redhorn is Frank Caliendo. Caliendo would be  47 years old when the film releases. Caliendo is a good actor. Like Redhorn, he is fat. Has acted in many TV series over the years. So he's experienced. Frank Caliendo will be trained in using police guns and other equipment for this role. Costume is a white shirt with blue long pants. Please let me know if you like the choice in the comments below.

Amygdala is my next character. He is a good guy. While he hasn't a superhero, he supports Nightwing's crusade against Bludhaven's worst. So kudos to him. Is over 6 feet. That makes  him very formidable when you see him. Lives at Dick's apartment as well. So cool. Has lived in the city for a long time. As a giant, he is friends with most. My casting for Amygdala is Big Show. Big Show would be 49 years old when the film releases. Big Show is a bad actor. However, he would be good for playing a giant since he's 7 feet. Paul Randall Wright Jr aka Big Show is chill. Certain swagger about him. Now his comics version. In the comics, he was Dick's apartment neighbor. They lived in the same apartment. He was nice to everyone there. Unfortunately, he was killed in an explosion of the apartment by Blockbuster one night. This won't happen in my flick. My movie will show him as cool. Once you see him, you'll like him here. Good at wrestling tho. I think you'll enjoy this man. Costume is same as comics version. Please let me know if you like the choice in the comments below.

Tarantula (Catalina Flores) is my next character. She is Hispanic here. Now Tarantula has a good history in the DCU. Tarantula as you can tell is the protégé of John Law. But she doesn't have a crush on Grayson. So no shipping, girls. Not going to be ex-FBI like in the comics. Finding her city rooted in corruption, she became a vigilante then. Was inspired by John Law's career in the 1980s. So she  trained under him. Enemy is Blockbuster who she wants to get rid of. Nightwing refuses to team up with her due to her reckless methods.  Knows about the corrupt Bludhaven police but doesn't kill them.He may gave Tarantula a  chance to turn herself in if she wants to kill Blockbuster later. Feeling shocked, Tarantula could flee. But Nightwing may turn her over to the Bludhaven Police. My casting for Tarantula is Gina Rodriguez. Rodriguez would be 36 years old when the film releases. Rodriguez is a good actress. You may recognize her from Jane the Virgin. She's acting well there. Hispanic like Tarantula so racial correct casting. More about Catalina Flores. Tarantula is an above-average combat girl and has martial arts skills. She also uses low-level poisons on foes. Costume is similar to her comics one but with short sleeves covering the midriff.  Please let me know if you like the choice in the comments below.

Amy Rohrbach is the next heroic person. She is the sexy police coworker of Dick. Was in the comics too. When Dick received his badge, he met Rohrbach at the force. After testing his honesty, she  recruited Grayson into her secret cabal of honest policemen to bring down Redhorn and his ilk.  Nightwing found secret journals of Chief Redhorn’s wife, which gave the FBI enough evidence to dismantle the entire Bludhaven Police Force in the comics. So that's that. Now her movie version is here. My casting for Amy Rohrbach is Eliza Coupe. Coupe would be 40 years old when the film releases. Coupe is an average actress. She acts in an ABC show called Quantico about an FBI unit. There' that. She's hot which makes her great to play Amy. Plans for the flick. Amy will be investigating crime. She realizes something's up. Upon reading the news she finds out that a certain criminal got a lighter sentence due to destroyed evidence. One day she discovers a dead body in     her apartment which shocks her. Realizes the Bludhaven police force has corrupt members. Very concerned about this. Gets some of her friends in the force to investigate this. This causes her to go after corrupt cops like Mac Arnott and Francis Redhorn. Works with Nightwing and the good cops to defeat Blockbuster and the corrupt police officers. That's that. Mary Redhorn is my next character. She is a heroine ok. In this movie, she will have a good role by telling the truth over Francis's evil. She knows her husband is corrupt. Throughout his career he worked with Blockbuster. But Mary hated this. So she tells the truth to Nightwing. Of course Dick believes her. Initially, Mary feared backlash at what would happen if she whistle blowed her corrupt husband. However, she came around and helped the good guys. Mary is awesome ok. At the end, she'll get rewarded for her actions by the FBI. My casting for Mary Redhorn is Nicole Picard. Picard would be 59 years old when the film releases. Picard is an average actress. In the movie, she will be married to Frances. Her character is older than Frances Redhorn. My filming will have her as the daughter of Scottish Protestant immigrants who migrated to Bludhaven earlier. When they reached the city, they gave birth to her. She grew up as a Bludhaven citizen. Been educated in that city through elementary, middle and high school as well as college. Later she married Frances. Originally she thought he was a clean cop, but found out the truth. Journals kept the truth about Frances and she wrote them to help in case she died. She's in a dilemma, but is a good woman throughout the flick. Costume is sweater with glasses.

FBI head Seth Gokwy is my next character in the film. He is clearly good no doubt about it. In this universe, the FBI investigates corrupt police forces. My movie will show him in a positive light. You will like him. An original character here. In this flick, he will be reading through reports of corrupt forces. Whenever he gets information on a corrupt force, he and the FBI move in. At the beginning of the movie, he is shown at his desk. Upon receiving a call from Amy,he tells her she needs hard evidence the police force is guilty to move in. So Amy has to find evidence from Bludhaven to move further. When she does, the FBI moves in. They help the good cops and sir Nightwing save the day. Pretty cool guy. My casting for Seth is Scott Bakula. Bakula would be 67 years old when the film releases. Bakula is a good actor. You may recognize him from NCIS: New Orleans where he plays a tough NCIS New Orleans leader. He is badass there. Don't worry about other NCIS alumni as I'll get Mark Harmon, Weatherly, Emily Wickersham, Sean Murray, Pauley Perrette, David McCallum, Brian Dietzen, LL Cool J, Danielle Ruah, Eric C Olsen, Miguel Ferrer, Helen Hunt, Barrett Foa, Renee Smith, Peter Gambor, Zoe McClellan and Rob Kerkovich in my DCCU. Probably not chris O'Donnell due to the baggage as his Grayson turn. Anyway, Scott would be great in this role. Costume is an expensive mens' suit. Blockbuster is my next character. He is the villain of this film. You obviously should know him as Nightwing's arch enemy. So he's a big guy who's evil. Runs the city underground like a boss. More feared than Tony Soprano. Killed lots of people. Defeated a lot of rival gangs. Has some cops in his pocket. Laughs at crimes. Similar to Kingpin from Marvel in many ways. A difference is that he takes steroids. In the comics, he was ruthless too. My movie will capture that. Comics version got killed by the female Tarnatula later. But Nightwing did turn in Tarantula as well. He won't be killed in the flick. My casting for Blockbuster is Gary Sweet. Sweet would be 63 years old when the film releases. Sweet is a good actor. Like Blockbuster, Sweet is bald, ok. That makes him a good choice to play the crime lord. Was in a police show and did his own stunts. He is tall. Despite being from Australia, I believe he can effectively portray American Blockbuster in the film. Took up drama at Sturt's Teachers' College. Many of his works were award winning. In fact he won some awards in Police Rescue. Hosted Things to Try Before You Die which shows his versatility in not getting killed. So that's Gary Sweet. He will bulk up for the role. Papa Depezzo is my next character. Is a side villain. Judging by his name, you can tell he's Italian and this will be reflected here. An Italian gangster he will be. Mafia ties are known. Rival with Blockbuster for control of the crime world in the city. Evil as well. Not in the comics so he's an original character, ok. That said he will be here. What else. My casting for Papa is Joe Jonas. Jonas would be 31 years old when the film releases. Jonas is an average actor. You may recognize him from Jonas, the Disney Channel show. He was funny over there. Looks Italian as well. Why I chose him. He can get girls to watch the movie in theaters in 2021. Many followers on his social media can be reminded to see Nightwing. Also, he is a phenomenon in pop culture. So this is why he's a good choice. Costume is typical mobster's outfit. Please let me know if you like the choice by leaving a comment below.

Blockbuster's mom is the next character. She is evil in the movie, ok. Old as well. I can tell u this is Blockbuster got his evil from. Now she's a hag. But she has close ties with her son. That helps. Unfortunately, she will die here. In the comics, she dies too. Then Blockbuster blamed her death on Nightwing and launched a vengeance campaign against him. However, the good guys won in the end. Flick will be not identical but still capture her spirit. I won't tell you who kills Blockbuster's mom in the film. You will be able to see the killer once I get my plot page done. But Blockbuster will be upset. He will target Nightwing in the flick. So Nightwing will be scared. My casting for Blockbuster's mom is Marta Holler. Holler would be 70 years old when the film releases. Holler is an average actress. She is from Budapest, Hungary. Has the build for the role. Gray hair too. Thus, she can play an old woman well. In the beginning, she is shown talking to Blockbuster. She asks how his crime organization is doing. He says it's doing fine. Of course, she's happy for him. In a meeting with the police officers, one officer mentions Blockbuster's mom keeps tabs on his operations in the city. Nightwing upon hearing this is amazed. Last scene is when she is murdered. Very angry, Blockbuster blames Nightwing for her murder. Backlash of bloodbath follows. So that's her. Brutale is my final characther. He is a super villain in comics and the flick. What does he do. He is a blade thrower. Used to live in a marxist Latin American country. Was in the nation's millitary before. Used to work as an interrogator in the force. During interrogations, he was brutal, giving him his nickname. People were scared of him. Luckily, the evil government there failed. So he was forced to flee. Eventually, he moved to Bludhaven to continue being evil. Bludhaven experienced his          anti-social behavior. City was angry at him. Nightwing and Batman fought him a few times. In the end, Nightwing defeated him. Everyone was happy. My movie version will make him look cool. He will retain his comics outfit. This will be in good cause. He will be played by a Latino actor. Mentions of his nation will be there. One scene will have Blockbuster saying how Brutale was in   that Marxist nation's military. Knives will be shown with him. As he walks, people will be looking at him shit scared. So yeah. My casting for Brutale is Edgar Ramirez. Ramirez is an average actor. Ramiez would be 44 years old when the film releases. Here's why I chose him. Young enough to play this ex-military role. Is Hispanic like Brutale. Quick and agile. Played villainous roles before.
